Empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities is at the heart of our mission. We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Network Coach to join our team.


About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who shares our vision of creating inclusive communities where everyone can thrive. As a Network Coach, you will work closely with individuals to build meaningful relationships, identify their aspirations, and support them in achieving their goals.


Key Responsibilities:

* Develop strong connections with individuals and their families, fostering a sense of belonging and community involvement.
* Hold high expectations and encourage individuals to set ambitious goals, providing guidance and support to help them achieve success.
* Support individuals in planning and implementing new opportunities, promoting independence and self-determination.
* Cultivate skills that enable individuals to maintain lasting relationships and develop natural connections through engaging experiences.
* Explore and establish connections with local community projects and organizations, enriching the lives of those we support.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to individualized support plans and reviews.


Working with Others

You will be working collaboratively with families, friends, social workers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support and communication.


Person Specification

We are looking for someone with exceptional qualifications, skills, and attributes, including:

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* A recognized professional qualification in Community Development, Health and Social Care, or a degree in a related field.
* Strong networking skills, with the ability to approach new people, initiate conversations, and take calculated risks.
* Effective problem-solving skills, with a creative approach to finding solutions.
* Outstanding communication skills, enabling clear explanations of complex ideas.
* A considerate, thoughtful, and calm demeanor, with a commitment to equality and inclusion.
* Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.
* A values-driven approach, prioritizing socially inclusive practices, active citizenship, and person-centered care.


Location

This role is based in Dublin, Ireland, requiring 39 hours of work per week, 5 days a week, with some flexibility to accommodate individual needs.
