Job Description: Our client a leading textile supplier is currently recruiting for a Sales Ledger & Credit Control Administrator to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the sales ledger, ensuring invoices are issued accurately and payments are received within agreed credit terms. The role is critical in maintaining healthy cash flow, managing customer accounts, and building positive relationships with customers while ensuring the companys credit control procedures are followed. Key Responsibilities Maintain and manage the companys sales ledger Raise and process customer invoices and credit notes accurately Monitor customer accounts to ensure payments are received within agreed credit terms Proactively follow up on overdue invoices via phone and email Reconcile customer accounts and investigate any discrepancies Allocate customer payments to the correct accounts Maintain accurate customer records including credit limits and account details Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to resolve account queries Prepare aged debtor reports and assist with cash flow reporting Support the Finance Manager with month-end procedures and reporting Skills & Experience Required Previous experience in Sales Ledger, Accounts Receivable, or Credit Control Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to manage difficult conversations professionally when chasing payments Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Good organisational and time management skills Experience using accounting software and Microsoft Excel Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desirable Experience working in a manufacturing, wholesale, or distribution environment Experience dealing with B2B customer accounts Familiarity with ERP or finance systems Personal Attributes Confident communicator Highly organised and proactive Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Professional and customer-focused approach Skills: Admin Confidence Finance Credit Control Accounts Receivable
