With a strong project pipeline and continued investment in their engineering teams, this is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer looking to step into a leadership-focused role.About Your New RoleAs a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will take ownership of electrical building services design across a range of residential and commercial developments, managing projects from concept through to completion.Key responsibilities include:Leading LV electrical design, including power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, and containment systemsProducing technical calculations, specifications, reports, and drawingsCoordinating with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, architectural, structural) to ensure fully integrated designsManaging project deliverables, timelines, and client requirements across all design stagesReviewing technical submissions, drawings, and RFIs during constructionSupporting site inspections, commissioning, and project handoverMentoring and supporting junior engineersContributing to quality assurance (QA), sustainability targets, and best practice design standardsRepresenting the electrical discipline in client and design team meetingsWhat You’ll Need to SucceedDegree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering7+ years’ experience in electrical building services designStrong knowledge of LV systems, lighting design, earthing & bonding, and life safety systemsProficiency in industry software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Dialux/Relux, or AmtechWorking knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, ET101, and relevant IS standardsStrong communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teamsProven ability to manage deadlines and deliver project packagesChartered Engineer status (or working towards it) is advantageousWhat You’ll Get in Return25 days annual leaveAnnual performance-related bonusRelocation support (where applicable)Hybrid working optionsOpportunity to work on high-profile projects within a global consultancyClear career progression and support toward chartership
