Design Manager – Longford
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Design Manager to lead a dynamic in-house design team with one of Ireland’s leading timber frame and roof structure manufacturers. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring strong management and leadership skills, the ability to work well under pressure, while coordinating closely with production, estimating, and site teams to deliver efficient, high-quality design solutions. This is a permanent role based in Co.Longford.
Key Responsibilities
Manage design programmes in line with client agreements.
Oversee technical aspects of projects and support tender processes.
Collaborate with production to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of designers.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and site teams to deliver high-quality projects.
Requirements
Minimum 3 Years Experience in a Senior Design role in the Timber Frame, Modular Design, or Residential Sectors.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
Strong technical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Enthusiastic, self‑motivated, and results‑driven.
