As a Junior Sales Executive, you will play a key role in driving business development, managing client relationships, and supporting the wider sales function. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a commercial career with strong client-facing exposure in a growing organisation.
Job Responsibilities
1. Managing incoming sales enquiries and engaging with prospective clients to understand their needs
2. Developing tailored solutions in collaboration with the Head of Sales
3. Preparing and submitting pricing proposals and commercial quotations
4. Supporting business development activities, including identifying new opportunities and contributing to sales presentations
5. Proactive pipeline management, including timely follow-ups on submissions and open opportunities
6. Building and maintaining strong long-term client relationships to drive repeat business and expand the customer base
7. Liaising with suppliers for up-to-date product information and pricing
8. Monitoring the progress of active opportunities and preparing regular sales activity reports for senior management
9. Ensuring accurate and up-to-date customer records within CRM systems (Salesforce)
10. Supporting the commercial team with administration related to customer accounts, agreements, and documentation
11. Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, regulations, and internal company policies
Experience and Qualifications
12. Degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
13. Minimum 1 year of experience in a commercial, sales, or customer-facing role ideally within construction/manufacturing/technical sectors
14. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build and nurture client and supplier relationships
15. A natural commercial mindset with an interest in sales, business development, and customer engagement
16. Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce) and the Microsoft Office Suite
17. Ability to work on own initiative, manage competing priorities, and operate in a fast-paced environment
18. Strong attention to detail, organisation, and follow-through
19. Full clean driver's licence
