About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Health and Safety Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all on-site activities comply with current health and safety regulations, policies, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with statutory obligations and internal procedures.
* Identify potential hazards and implement risk mitigation strategies.
* Prepare, review, and update Health & Safety documentation, including risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and safety plans.
* Lead incident investigations, prepare reports, and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
* Deliver health and safety inductions and training to staff, subcontractors, and visitors.
* Liaise with site management, contractors, and relevant regulatory bodies (e.g., HSA).
* Maintain and monitor records of safety statistics and ensure accurate reporting.
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement in health and safety practices.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Minimum of a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or related qualification (e.g., IOSH/NEBOSH).
* 2+ years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
* Thorough knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation.
* Strong communication, report-writing, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across active sites.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and health & safety reporting systems.

Desirable:
* Membership of a recognized professional body (e.g., IOSH, CIF).
* Experience in civil engineering or large-scale commercial construction projects.
