This position plays a critical role in ensuring operational uptime, equipment reliability, and site-wide maintenance excellence across a highly regulated manufacturing environment.This is a key leadership opportunity for an accomplished engineering professional who thrives in a fast-paced, compliant, and quality-driven operation.The Role:You will lead the Maintenance and Facilities Engineering function, ensuring the site has best-in-class asset reliability, predictive and preventive maintenance programmes, and robust continuous improvement initiatives. As part of the senior leadership team, you will contribute directly to operational strategy, site performance, and long-term engineering capability building.Key Responsibilities:Lead and develop the Facilities & Maintenance Engineering teams, including performance management and skills development.Drive strategic initiatives to minimise downtime, reduce costs, improve asset availability, and enhance maintenance processes.Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programmes to maximise equipment uptime.Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety, compliance, and regulatory standards (ISO, GMP, EHS).Manage CAPEX programmes, including forecasting, project execution, and reporting.Oversee contractor management, spare parts, utilities, facilities management, and asset lifecycle planning.Champion continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance, facilities, and engineering processes (LEAN, Six Sigma).Support validation activities (equipment, utilities, CSV), ensuring alignment with global engineering standards.Collaborate across operations, quality, engineering, and global functions to deliver site performance targets.About You:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil or related Engineering discipline (Master’s desirable).10+ years’ experience in engineering/maintenance leadership, ideally in medical device, pharma, or other regulated manufacturing environments.Strong background with GMP, compliance, validation, and regulated industry standards.Skilled in LEAN and continuous improvement methodologies.Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and drive site-level engineering strategy.Excellent communication skills; comfortable presenting performance data and KPIs to leadership.Why Join?Senior leadership position with real site impactOpportunity to shape engineering and maintenance strategyWork within a highly regulated and quality-focused operationStrong development pathway within a global organisationIf you’re a driven maintenance and engineering leader seeking a high-impact opportunity within a regulated manufacturing environment, we’d love to hear from you.
