Building Services Manager
Opportunity for a Building Services Manager to join our Data Centre team in Dublin.
John Sisk & Son are looking for a Building Services Manager to support the M&E delivery on a Data Centre project.

Responsibilities
1. Promote the application of the Building Services Department Management Systems and Procedures, providing technical support, guidance, and direction in the overall delivery of projects.
2. Support the Building Services “Value Proposition” and its alignment with the Business Units and Company’s Vision, Values, and Ambition Objectives.
3. Support delivery of the Building Services Strategy Plan and objectives.
4. Support the tender and award of MEP packages in accordance with the required Project Pre-Construction and procurement strategy, and objectives.
5. Ensure Temporary Electrical requirements for projects, including load and energy assessments, are in line with the Management System Guidelines.
6. Take responsibility for MEP integration and project delivery as part of the overall project team.
7. Ensure managing of MEP elements on contracts complies with Building Services Management Procedures and specific Project Execution Plans (PEP).
8. Ensure the finalization of Building Services Installation and Commissioning programs are aligned and integrated with the main Construction Program.
9. Engage with utility companies from the outset to understand, communicate, and adhere to infrastructural and interface requirements.
10. Ensure coordination and approval of Builders Works Drawings by MEP Contractors to meet program requirements.
11. Track equipment & plant submissions through approval processes.
Experience
1. Experience managing large-scale and complex MEP projects.
2. Good understanding of the MEP supply chain market and dynamics.
3. Operational involvement in all phases of large-scale projects, including estimating, pre-construction, installation, commissioning, demonstration, and handover.
4. Technical, interpersonal, and commercial skills to deliver multiple MEP projects.
Qualifications
1. Mechanical or Electrical academic/MEP technical qualification.
2. Membership of professional institutions such as CIBSE, CIOB, IEI, or equivalent.
3. IOSH or equivalent.
