The Company:
Monroes is one of Galway's best-known live music venues and are currently looking for anexperienced Venue Supervisor. Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will lead the event co-ordination and operational success of the venue.
Responsibilities:
* Working closely with promoter to ensure smooth running of calendar events.
* Overseeing general operations of live gigs
* Following venue standard operating procedures
* Opening and closing of live venue
* General Admin & Bookings
* Bar setup & supervision
* Social media posting
* In-house print marketing
* Band & artist liaison
* Working with engineer team to ensure bands and acts times are followed
* Staff training
* Overseeing of clean-up of live venue
* Setting up and maintenance of relationships with local vendors to book in various functions and events
* Working with management and maintenance team to flag repairs and maintenance issues
* Strategising to increase revenue in the live venue. Identifying new acts/events.
Requirements:
* Candidates should have a strong aptitude for music and entertainment industry
* Organisational skills and forecasting to identify future issues
* Warm and welcoming personality
* Budgeting & familiar with Microsoft excel and till systems
* Ability to think on your feet and problem solving
