Overview
Quality Control Technician role at MSD, Dundalk, Ireland. You will ensure QC laboratory equipment is maintained, calibrated, and validated to meet GMP and regulatory expectations. You will support sample management and distribution processes using LIMS, engaging with stakeholders from different departments. Our facility is dedicated to formulating and filling vaccine products to improve lives globally.
What You Will Do
* Maintain QC equipment within their qualified state for GMP readiness.
* Review and approve RAMS / permit to works, liaising with EHS and vendors.
* Follow site local procedures and training expectations.
* Support deviations, change controls and CAPAs.
* Perform periodic reviews of equipment validation / qualification status.
* Perform sample management activities on site.
* Execute sample management tasks using LIMS and other electronic platforms.
* Support ad hoc tasks where and when required.
What Skills You Will Need
Education
* Minimum BSc Degree in a science related field.
Experience
* At least 3+ years in a pharmaceutical GMP environment
* Analytical equipment maintenance
* In-depth knowledge in Quality Control (QC) equipment calibration and validation activities
* Familiar with core quality management system (QMS) elements such as deviations, CAPAs and change controls
