Head of Health, Safety & Compliance – IrelandWe are seeking experienced and driven Health, Safety & Compliance experts at advisor and manager level to lead and continuously develop my client's Health, Safety and compliance programme across Ireland.The RoleLead the Health, Safety & Compliance strategy across all Irish operations.Partner with senior and site management to embed a strong, visible and accountable safety culture.Oversee and develop ISO 45001-aligned management systems and support integrated systems across quality and environmental disciplines.Ensure full compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements.Oversee incident investigation processes, ensuring effective root cause analysis and preventative action.Develop KPIs, audit programmes and performance reporting to drive measurable improvement.Directly manage and develop the Health, Safety & Compliance team across Ireland.Act as a trusted advisor to the business, balancing regulatory rigour with commercial pragmatism.Support business change initiatives, ensuring safety and compliance are embedded at every stage.About YouYou will bring:A degree in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent).Professional membership (e.g. IOSH) - Chartered or working toward Chartered status desirable.Strong working knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation and ISO 45001.Proven experience delivering measurable improvements in safety performance.Experience managing higher-risk environments (chemicals, flammable atmospheres, ADR, confined spaces desirable).Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.Strong IT and data capability, with the ability to interpret performance trends and drive action.Full driving licence and willingness to travel across sites (with occasional international travel).
