Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our multi-disciplinary team at Adare and District Memory Care Centre.
The Role:
1. SUPPORTING THE NURSING STAFF: Assist in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to meet the needs of residents.
2. GIVING COMPANIONSHIP AND ATTENTION: Get to know residents' interests and needs, providing attention, support, and companionship as required.
3. PROMOTING MOBILITY: Supervise and assist residents in maintaining their mobility while promoting optimum movement where possible.
4. Maintaining Personal Appearance/Hygiene Needs Of Residents And Ensuring Their Dignity Is Maintained Always.: Enable and assist residents with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing or dressing.
[1] TO COMPLY WITH LEGISLATIVE REQUIREMENTS OF PERSONAL WASH CLOTHES –FOR INDEPENDENT & REQUIRING ASSISTANCE RESIDENTS.
[2] ENABLE/ASSIST TO USE EQUIPMENT FOR REMOVAL/PURPOSE OF BODY ODOR ETC .
