Position Description:
This individual will be required to work closely with Operations and Management teams to provide project level oversight for a significant AML technology project for EMEA. You will be responsible for managing both internal stakeholders and internal project. The focus will be on ensuring AML compliance is embedded in project planning and execution, resource collaboration and integrating AML requirements into operational and technical project components, all while ensuring a continuous focus on delivering the project on time and within budget. Reporting into the Senior Manager, AML Operations. Candidates should have a high level of understanding of Fund Administration and or other relevant financial disciplines.
What you'll do:
* Work with management to ensure scope of project is well defined, ensure milestones and project resources are well tracked and projects are delivered on time
* Work with internal stakeholders to progress the project, identify where resource requirements exist and take ownership of task completion to move projects forward
* Fully support the operational teams and assist in strategic business decision making
* Work with operational teams in assessing current processes and mapping out potential improvements where required
* If change is necessary, work with operations to implement that change
* Knowledge of fund administration, depository services and/or 'administration' products (i.e., fund administration, depositary services and relevant technology)
* Co-ordinate with project and internal stakeholder to proactively and effectively move agendas forward
* Assist in the development and implementation of departmental procedures
* Minute and support governance meetings, in line with internal guidelines
* Ensure HR policies are applied and maintained
* Carry out all duties assigned to your role under the Company's Safety Statement, to ensure Health, Safety and Well-being for all employees for whom you have responsibility
What you bring to the Table:
* A third level qualification in Finance or related field is preferred
* A professional qualification in project management or business analysis an advantage
* At least 7 years' experience in a Fund Administration, business analysis/project management experience is a plus
* Experience in managing AML-related projects or initiatives preferred
* Knowledge of AML and/or Financial Crime and various fund domiciles regulatory requirements an advantage
* Fluency in English Language (both verbal and written) essential
* Strong technical background
