Job Title: Ticketing & Membership Sales Manager

Location: HQ Abbottstown, Dublin

Direct Reporting Line: Commercial Director

Commencement Date: TBC

Duration: Permanent / Full Time

Purpose of the Role
The Ticketing & Membership Sales Manager will lead the strategic direction and execution of Club Ireland, Corporate, and hospitality sales. This role drives revenue growth, develops meaningful partnerships, and maximises match-day income while enhancing the supporter experience. The role works closely with the Commercial Director to secure partnerships that grow the support base for Ireland's international teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with FAI's commercial objectives.

• Manage and optimise Club Ireland, Corporate Boxes, hospitality, and group ticket sales.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners and key stakeholders.

• Lead contract negotiations and ensure agreements are favorable and deliverable.

• Continuously improve the sales process using CRM tools and data insights.

• Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team to drive lead generation and promotional campaigns.

• Monitor and report on sales targets, performance, risks, and opportunities.

• Innovate new revenue streams beyond core ticketing and hospitality offerings.

• Support and develop the ticketing and membership team through training and motivation.

• Represent FAI at commercial meetings, events, and industry forums.

Experience and Qualifications
Essential:

• Proven experience in sales, business development, or partnership management, ideally in sports or related industries.

• Strong track record of achieving targets and securing partnerships.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to execute and lead with a hands-on approach.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field.

Desirable:

• Passion for sport and understanding of the sports industry ecosystem.

• Existing network of corporate contacts in Ireland.

• Knowledge of CRM and sales pipeline management tools.

• Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable sales strategies.

• Understanding of digital and social media trends for commercial prospects.

• Presentation design and proposal development skills (PowerPoint, Keynote, Canva).

• Minimum of three years' B2B sales experience.

• Experience working cross-functionally within teams.

• Flexible working practices including weekends.
