Senior Cyber Security Specialist
.
This is a
hybrid long term daily rate contract
position located with our client in
Dublin City.
Work pattern is
2 days per week onsite.
Mandatory Requirements:
* years in a relevant cybersecurity role and should be/have operated at Manager/strategic level
* A qualification at Level 8 on the NFQ major award (i.e. honours degree), or higher, in a relevant discipline (computing or computational discipline) or other relevant field.
* A recognised Cyber Security qualification, e.g. Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar recognised standard.
* Should be familiar with standards such as NIS2, CyberFundamentals Framework, NIST Critical Security Framework, ISO 27001.
Required Experience:
* Experience of leading the design and delivery of Cyber Security services and solutions including project management, managing budgets and strategic management etc. including relevant experience of policy development.
* Experience in driving Cyber Security enabled transformational change in a dynamic and complex environment.
* Experience of Cyber Security management experience including leading teams, risk management, incident management and managing resources at an appropriate scale and senior level.
* Experience of International Security Frameworks and Standards, e.g. NIS2, CyberFundamentals Framework, NIST Critical Security Framework, ISO 27001.
* Experience of programme management.
* Communicating clearly and effectively to various stakeholders at different levels, including those from both technical and non-technical backgrounds and those at end- user and senior management levels.
Deliverables:
* Develop and implement information security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
* Responsibility for security incident management, monitoring, control, and reporting.
* Responsibility for monitoring of log aggregation across the client systems, and interaction with third party providers resources when necessary.
* Lead on the development of the Disaster Recovery plan as part of Business Continuity planning.
* Engage with third party providers to ensure that services provided are in adherence to the client security policies.
* Development of risk management processes to include identification of existing and emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and risks, and to develop processes and/or technical solutions in order to mitigate them.
* Implement infrastructure security baselines.
* Support the development, and lead the implementation of the Cyber Security strategy, while ensuring that all areas of the organisation understand and follow the agreed strategy.
* Coordinate the response/escalation to any cyber incidents and be responsible for the review/reporting of those incidents.
* Conduct and coordinate cyber security planning and response exercises.
* Deliver projects defined within the security roadmap.
* Collaborate with HR to develop and rollout a Cyber Security awareness program.
* Promote good security practice and outline risks to all parts of the business.
* Provide security oversight for the migration to Microsoft Office 365
* Undertake Information security compliance health checks including periodic security reviews.
* Facilitate Cyber Security targeted tabletop exercises
* Assist with Microsoft Azure AD security configuration and management.
