A market leading wealth management firm are looking to hirea HCAO to work with the CRO and leading the client asset oversight team. Therole will work closely with the board and will require somebody to haveexcellent communication & stakeholder management skills.Role responsibilities will include but not limited to:Overall responsibility for leading and managing theclient asset oversight functionReport to the risk and compliance committee andalso the board of client asset mattersHandle the day -to -day oversight and compliancewith client asset regulations (CAR) and the guidance relating to thoseregulations, including oversight of the Daily Calculation and Daily ReconciliationEnsuring that the Client Asset Management Plan(CAMP) referred to in the CAR is produced, maintained, reviewed and updated asthe information changesWork closely with all first and second lines ofdefence to identify and mitigate client asset related risks.
RequirementsDetailed knowledge of Client Asset rulesRegulations in Ireland and the associated guidance and their application tobusinesses and processesKnowledge of MiFID / UK CAAS would be an advantageExperience delivering / managing a compliancefunction focusing on client asset regulationsEvidence of operational risk expertise, withability to identify risks and develop mitigating controls across front -to -backprocessesMust be a self starter with excellentcommunication skills
