Director of Risk | Aircraft Leasing | Limerick, Ireland A well-backed aircraft leasing platform is seeking a Director of Risk to lead and develop its risk function. This is a senior, strategic role with responsibility for shaping risk frameworks, governance, and oversight across the business, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a fast-growing aviation investment platform. The Role You will play a central role in embedding robust risk management practices across the organisation, working closely with senior leadership and contributing directly to commercial and investment decisions. Key Responsibilities Establish and enhance enterprise risk frameworks, policies, and governance standards Provide strategic risk analysis and reporting to senior leadership and the board Evaluate airline credit risk and portfolio exposures Support transaction reviews, pricing decisions, and risk-adjusted return assessments Contribute to aircraft acquisition and disposal evaluations, including financial modelling Monitor global aviation market trends to inform business strategy Oversee portfolio reviews and semi-annual valuations About You Degree in finance, economics, risk management, mathematics, or a related discipline Significant experience in risk management within aircraft leasing Strong background in financial modelling and data analysis Deep understanding of airline credit risk, aircraft economics, and portfolio management Proven ability to communicate effectively at senior and board level Why This Role?
