THE ROLE: As Area Sales Engineer, you will cover a nationwide territory, selling service and maintenance agreements to manufacturing and process end users. You will work closely with engineering and procurement teams across sectors such as manufacturing, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, healthcare and utilities, positioning long-term service contracts that support critical plant and equipment. This is a relationship-led, solution-based sales role, focused on retention, contract growth and developing new opportunities within existing and new client accounts. You will be supported by internal sales, technical teams and engineers, allowing you to focus on building relationships and driving commercial growth. THE PERSON: We are open to a range of backgrounds for this role, provided you have strong sales experience and a consultative approach. You could come from: * A mechanical / engineering sales background * OR a non-technical sales background, with experience selling service contracts or recurring revenue solutions into B2 B environments The ideal candidate will have: * Proven field sales experience * Experience selling into manufacturing, industrial or commercial end users (or similar B2 B environments) * A strong relationship-building and consultative sales style * Commercial awareness with the ability to manage long-term client partnerships * A proactive, driven attitude and team-oriented mindset * Full clean driving licence This is also a great opportunity for an internal sales professional looking to move into a field-based role.
