03/12/2025Dublin AirportPermanentIn order to meet the company's ambitious growth plans an opportunity now exists for an APU Technician & NDT Level 2 Specialist hybrid role in the APU Workshop Reporting to APU Operations Lead. The successful candidate's duties will include:Ensuring work is carried out to the highest standard and is completed in a timely fashion and meets the delivery requirements of the customer.Use the IT systems available as directed throughout the department to log the work they complete.Ensuring that all work performed is recorded on the appropriate paperwork and signed for on a progressive basis.Ensuring that the area they work in is kept clean and in an orderly condition.Adhere to all company, regulatory and Health and Safety procedures.Essential Requirements:Ability to complete a training course to qualify as EN4179 Level 2 in Penetrant Testing and Magnetic Particle Testing for APU ComponentsA willingness to travel abroad for training purposesHave completed a Motor Trade Apprenticeship or any time served mechanical disciplines or an Aircraft Apprenticeship/Traineeship.Minimum of years post qualification experience working in a Garage environment/ Maintenance Repair Organisation MRO.Working knowledge of automotive diagnostic systems/MRO computer systemStrong communication skills, both oral and writtenAbility to read and interpret specifications and technical instructions from the relevant manualsAbility to work within a team, and on their own initiative, be self motivated and flexible in their approach to workProven problem solving and decision making skillsWillingness to up-skill and recertify on an on-going basisA good sense of commercial awarenessDesired Requirements:Qualified to EN4179 level 2 in Penetrant Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing with recent documented experience in the methodHave a working knowledge of APU product technologyA good knowledge of an MRO computer system
