I am currently recruiting for a Playgroup Leader to work full time 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday each week.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To lead the playgroup while developing, planning and implementing activities for the class in a safe and nurturing environment. Activities will include Creative play, music, story telling, outdoor activities and opportunities for role play. Additionally you will be required to have good communication skills
with your co -workers and with the parents/guardians when greeting at drop off and collection where you will lease with the family about activities they have engaged in, their behaviour and developmental progress. There are many TUSLA regulations, some of these you will be responsible
for in your room such as completing attendance records, child's daily record forms, cleaning schedules, 10 minute sleep checks, meals etc.
Qualifications and Experience:
Candidates must have a Degree or Diploma (Minimum QQI Level 5) In Early Childhood Care and Education and 2 years experience working with young children. Excellent communication skills with the children, co -workers and parent's/guardians. A good understanding and knowledge of child
development to meet each child's individual needs and stage of development. And able to use own initiative and work independently while also being able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
