Main Purpose of Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Early Careers & Engineering Coordinator to join our People Team in Ireland. This is a varied role that supports both the People and Engineering teams.
Role Duties
* Engineering Support
o Coordinate the Engineering Mentor/Mentee programme - maintain register, track feedback, and ensure compliance.
o Maintain and update the Engineering Skills Matrix and CPD Register every 6 months, analyse trends, and coordinate any follow-up training.
o Attend Engineering Leads Meetings, draft minutes, and manage the Action Register.
o Support Engineers Ireland accreditation submissions.
o Manage Engineers Ireland membership records.
o Liaise with the People team to plan and coordinate college visits.
o Keep Engineering Team SharePoint pages and Training Calendars up to date.
o Support reporting and data analysis for engineering training and development activities.
* Early Careers & People Team Support
o Schedule check-ins with graduates and coordinate feedback collection for all training.
o Ensure timely communication around upcoming training sessions - send reminders, manage diaries, and inform line managers.
o Collate CVs for early careers candidates (graduates, apprentices, interns) and liaise with hiring managers to schedule interviews.
o Engage with university partners and sponsorships - identify opportunities and support engineering and resourcing teams with planning.
o Organise travel and logistics for early careers training and UK visits.
o Represent Murphy at school visits, careers fairs and early careers events.
o Assist with planning of early careers inductions, training sessions, and cohort-wide events.
o Manage any associated invoicing and admin tasks related to outreach events and school/university engagement.
