Trainee AccountantAbout UsVision is an international brand and market leader in the design, supply & install of visual communication and acoustics surfaces. With a multinational team of 45 and over 15 languages spoken, Vision delivers global branding and acoustics products for the world's largest companies.Your new roleIn this role, you will participate in a wide range of projects and tasks within the company's finance department. You'll grow to be responsible for preparing and completing monthly management accounts, including Balance Sheet, and assisting with monthly financial accounts covering capital expenditure, cost tracking, and return analysis. You will be responsible for payroll, bank and cash reconciliations, creditors ledger, accruals and prepayments, PAYE VAT and other related tax submissions, and other ad-hoc tasks. You will provide analytical support and decision-making insights to both the commercial and operations teams, contribute to regular reporting and presentations for management, and actively support continuous improvement and efficiency within the Finance function. Additionally, you will be mentored by the Managing Director, a chartered accountant with 20 years' experience. No two days will be the same and you will not be bored.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you should hold a Level 7 qualification in Accounting & Finance, Business Studies, or a related field. You will have a strong ambition and commitment to pursue a professional accountancy qualification. You should be capable of working both independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude. A solid academic background with a proven track record of achievement and delivery is essential, along with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. You should be fluent in English and be at ease with using a variety of IT programs, both on a day to day basis and in projects designed to streamline and automate parts of the finance function.What you'll get in returnAs part of your employment, you will receive a competitive salary, pension contributions, and 20 days of annual leave.
