Management Accountant 4 days per week - €45,000 for 4 days Fixed Term Maternity Cover (up to 14 months) Location: Head Office, Dublin 2 (Hybrid 3 days office / 1 day WFH) Start Date: April 2026 This is a brilliantly exciting role, working within the sports industry. You will play a key role in the production of management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, cashflow management, and day-to-day financial operations, while also leading and supporting the Accounts Assistant. Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis Post journals including accruals, prepayments, stock adjustments and payroll entries Partner with key departments on finance & revenue Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles Support the CFO and Treasurer with cashflow management Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance across the business Prepare and submit VAT returns Assist with monthly payroll processing (UK payroll experience desirable) Support internal and external audit processes Drive continuous improvement in finance processes and systems Lead, mentor and delegate tasks to the Accounts Assistant Requirements Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) Strong management accounting experience Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills Confident communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments Proven experience leading, mentoring or supporting junior staff Proactive, hands-on and comfortable in a fast-paced environment UK payroll experience desirable Experience in events, hospitality, sport or multi-site operations is an advantage Remuneration €45,000 Contact Rachel Tubridy on or email PeopleSource is a finance and accounting recruitment firm.
