Job Advert: Patrol & Maintenance Operative Cork City
Salary: €45,000 per year
Contract: 12 month then on an annual rolling basis
We are looking for an experienced and reliable person to join our team as a Patrol & Maintenance Operative.
Shift Pattern: 12 hour shifts4 days on / 4 days off day and night shifts, including on-call and bank holiday work.
You will be a part of a team roster to provide full 24 hour cover therefore when off roster you will carry out standard traffic management duties
Start Date: 1st November ****
The job involves:
· Patrolling and checking roads, traffic management systems and infrastructure
· Carrying out basic maintenance and repairs
· Responding to incidents and call-outs
· Dealing with the public and other professionals in a clear and professional way
· Keeping records of inspections and work completed
What we need from you:
· Experience in traffic management or infrastructure maintenance
· A full, clean driving licence
· A technical or practical background
· Good communication skills
· Able to work shifts (4 on / 4 off), including bank holidays and on-call duties
· Strong references from previous work
