Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will support the production team in the development of production plans, reports, and the generation of KPI’s.
About your New Job
Key Responsibilities include:
* Support the production team in the development of production plans, reports, and the generation of KPI’s.
* Compile work hours into internal databases for shift tracking and provide a weekly report to finance.
* Compile yield data into internal databases and distribute as needed.
* Maintain the labour report; review and work closely with production management to resolve daily cost per ton variances by shift / line versus budget and labour cost per line issues.
* Generate the weekly labour plan to meet the required head count per production line.
* Communicate labour plan of any potential risks or gaps and work with production management to resolve.
* Keep the production absence record up to date. Liaise with production management, finance, and HR daily to support absenteeism management.
* Key administrator responsible for data updates and accuracy on internal databases/systems.
* Maintain production action list and support the Head of Operations and the wider operations team as required.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement solutions as assigned.
* Assist with projects as assigned.
* Undertake any other assignments and administrative duties as may be reasonably required.
What Skills You Need
* Experience providing administrative support in a busy environment.
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills essential (advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge including SUMIF, COUNTIF Pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions)
* Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably in food.
* Demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail, and a methodical and logical approach to work.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Fluent in English both verbally and written.
* Proven track record in meeting deadlines.
* Experience of working cross functionally to achieve results.
* Proactive, self-confident, and highly motivated team player.
