Description
Our Cork City team is expanding and we are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team at this exciting stage of our journey.
The successful candidate will work alongside a leading team providing exceptional service to our clients.
They will work to deadlines and support other members of the team where needed.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure day to day client files are completed correctly and within the timeframes and requirements set
Support junior team members with questions and queries to ensure accurate work is produced
Deliver client work of the highest standards and ensure compliance with all legal and statutory requirements
Ensure the correct client documentation is received in a timely and efficient manner to ensure deadlines can be met
Handle client requests and queries in a manner that promotes client loyalty
Record own chargeable time and ensure all billable hours can be recovered
Prepare client paperwork (Accounts, tax, PAYE, VAT) within allocated deadlines to allow timely submission to Revenue
Key Requirements
3-5 years general accounting practice experience
ACA/ACCA qualified or in progress
An in-depth knowledge of Accounting Standards
Additional Requirements
Leadership skills with an ability to supervise
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Self-starter who can critically analyse and assess information
