Job Overview
As the Principal Wastewater Utility Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of wastewater systems.
* Manage contractor/vendor relationships, system performance, regulatory compliance, and safety.
* Provide design oversight, conduct safety reviews, define project scope, manage operational expenditure (OPEX) budgets, and lead project/change management initiatives.
* Mentor junior engineers and support site GMP operations and environmental licensing requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in utilities engineering within a regulated manufacturing environment, with experience in managing complex vendor contracts and utility service agreements.
They will also possess a deep understanding of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), environmental licensing, energy efficiency, and wastewater systems, as well as experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and performance reporting.
A Master's level qualification and international or multi-site experience are advantageous.
Essential skills include knowledge of wastewater treatment systems, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance, and environmental licensing, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects on time and within budget.
