Research and Development Project Manager Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join a global leader in neurovascular care as a Research & Development Project Manager. The successful candidate will be part of the R&D team in Galway, working on innovative device solutions to improve the treatment of neurovascular diseases.
* Provide technical leadership and ownership of critical technical tasks in new product development catheter projects.
* Liaise with key opinion leaders to develop a deep understanding of disease states and user needs.
* Translate requirements into technical specifications and foster a culture of creativity.
* Lead test model development, prototype testing, and data analysis.
* Identify and manage technical risks throughout the product lifecycle.
Program Management Responsibilities
* Develop detailed project goals, plans, and budgets.
* Manage direct teams and external resources to achieve project goals.
* Report progress across the organisation and lead design reviews.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 8 years' experience in medical device industry with technical project leadership and prior catheter product development experience.
* Strong technical leadership capability and catheter design and development ability.
