We are currently recruiting a Toolroom Assistant for our clients in Listowel, County Kerry.
You will join a busy high-volume injection moulding manufacturing facility.
In this role, you will work closely with experienced toolmakers, assisting in the maintenance, cleaning, assembly, and preparation of injection mould tools.
You will play a key part in ensuring the toolroom operates efficiently and that production tooling is always ready for use.
This is a permanent, full time, early career position opportunity to become part of a skilled technical team supporting the smooth operation of production tooling.
Key Responsibilities: Assist toolmakers with maintenance, repair, cleaning, and preparation of injection mould tools.
Support the assembly and disassembly of tooling components in line with production requirements.
Handle and move tools and equipment safely within the toolroom and production areas.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times.
Follow all health & safety procedures and company quality standards.
Support toolroom operations to minimise downtime and ensure production continuity.
Carry out basic documentation and record-keeping as required.
Requirements: Relevant Mechanical Qualification and experience.
Good mechanical aptitude and practical, hands-on approach.
Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Previous manufacturing or workshop experience is an advantage.
Salary is open to negotiation, based on experience along with Pension and Medical insurance.
