**Job Summary**
A leading not-for-profit organisation is seeking a Technology Support Specialist to join their dedicated team. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of the organisations IT infrastructure and deliver technical support to staff and service users.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide hardware and software support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, routers, and firewalls.
* Deliver technical assistance via a helpdesk system to staff and service users.
* Conduct IT skills training sessions for staff and service users.
* Perform network administration in a Microsoft Windows Server and Citrix VMware environment.
* Manage user accounts and email services through Microsoft Exchange and Office 365.
* Monitor and maintain system integrity and security using antivirus and anti-spyware tools.
* Administer and monitor data backups (onsite and offsite).
* Liaise with vendors and service providers to source IT solutions ensuring best value.
* Support the development of management information systems through software utilities.
* Maintain IT documentation and advise on new technologies and improvements.
**Requirements:**
Essential:
* Degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
* Minimum of 2 years experience in an IT operational environment.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Windows 10, Office 2016, Office 365, Windows Server, and Exchange.
* Strong understanding of desktop hardware, software, and networking technologies.
* Experience with switches, hubs, wireless access points, and structured cabling.
* Full drivers license with access to own transport.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical staff.
Desirable:
* Experience working in organisations supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, or mental health services.
