Clarity is currently recruiting for a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) for a well-established nursing home based in Co. Roscommon.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse looking to step into or progress within a leadership role in the Care of the Older Person sector.
The ideal candidate must be/have:
* Registered General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
* A minimum of 5 years’ post-registration experience, ideally in care of the elderly services
* Minimum of 2 years' experience working at CNM level or similar leadership role
* Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to supervise and support care staff
* In-depth knowledge and understanding of HIQA standards and healthcare regulations
* Proven track record of achieving compliance in a similar setting
* Evidence of ongoing professional development and commitment to continuous learning
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage clinical governance and promote best practice in patient care
* Strong IT and documentation skills
Key responsibilities will include:
* Leading and managing the care team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents
* Supporting the Person in Charge in all aspects of clinical and operational management
* Ensuring full compliance with HIQA and all relevant regulations
* Monitoring care plans and ensuring resident safety, dignity, and well-being
* Conducting regular audits, risk assessments, and quality improvement initiatives
* Supporting training, development, and supervision of nursing and care staff
* Promoting a positive, resident-centred culture within the home

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
