The role
To contribute to the development and advancement of ourspecialisedendometriosis services and the wider gynecological patient offering through supporting the hospital’s mission to establish itself as a premier national centre for women’s health particularly through the expansion of the hospitals current gynecological offering to encompass a multidisciplinary endometriosis service, that is nationally recognised as a centre of excellence.

Responsibilities
Assist in the planning, organising and co-ordinating of the Histopathology Laboratory service in accordance with the mission, vision, values and strategic plan of the organisation.
Assist in training and leading a team of skilled staff and creating and promoting healthy working relationships. Take a lead role in training students and basic grade scientists in the department.
Assist in identifying and implementing operational procedures up to “best practice” standard in order to optimise use of resources.
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of a quality management programme which is patient centred and which measures and audits performance and client satisfaction.
Skills
Minimum of 4 years post-qualification exp partaken in emergency on-call rotas.
