Key Responsibilities
The role involves leading and delivering a commercial strategy to achieve sales, margin, and profitability targets across all categories.
* Trading Strategy: Set clear objectives for the Trading function and ensure their achievement.
* Lead and Inspire: Manage and develop a high-performing trading team with expertise in negotiation, supplier management, data interpretation, market analysis.
* Commercial Performance: Ensure robust budget management by taking full responsibility for managing costs within the Trading function.
* Innovation & Growth: Identify new revenue streams through cross-category innovation to enhance customer offering.
Experience & Skills:
A minimum of 5+ years' experience is required in senior trading or category management roles. Proven track record of delivering commercial growth while managing complex portfolios is essential. Strong analytical capability with an ability to interpret data effectively is also necessary.
