In this role, you will perform maintenance on City-owned facilities. Examples of Duties:Performs repairs on various types of facilities and equipment, specializing in electrical work. Operates specialized equipment and tools.May lead the work of maintenance crews at the worksite, ensuring that the work is performed safely and efficiently.Receives work orders, prioritizes and distributes them according to division procedures.Estimates project materials from blueprints, and purchases necessary supplies.Maintains records of all work performed.Works extended hours, as necessary, during shutdowns of equipment and/or buildings.Performs other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications:High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and 4 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. CDL B required after 6 months of hire.Certified Master Electrician. Other Necessary Requirements:May require evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
