As part of their continued investment in digital construction, they are seeking an experienced BIM Manager to support and lead Digital Project Delivery (DPD) from pre-contract through to project handover. This is an opportunity to shape digital delivery within an organisation known for embracing new technologies and progressive construction methodologies.
The Role
As BIM Manager, you will play a key technical leadership role across both tender and live project stages. You will be responsible for implementing BIM and digital requirements, supporting internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver coordinated, compliant, and data-rich project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Support pre-construction teams by reviewing tender documentation, including EIRs and Works Information, to identify BIM and digital requirements.
Provide technical reviews of 3D BIM models for federation, clash detection, logistics planning, and cost analysis.
Develop, coordinate, and manage project BEPs, MIDPs, and MPDTs, ensuring all parties clearly understand their responsibilities.
Co-lead Digital Project Delivery kick-off meetings to align strategy with project objectives.
Mentor BIM Engineers and support their technical development across live projects.
Experience & Qualifications
Essential Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience on multi-disciplinary projects operating in line with BIM Level 2 requirements.
Strong experience producing and managing BIM documentation, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Synchro Pro, AutoCAD, Lumion, and CDE platforms such as Viewpoint or Dalux.
Experience working in collaborative, digitally enabled environments, ideally within a Tier-1 contractor or leading consultancy delivering complex projects.
Qualifications
Third-level qualification in construction, engineering, or a related discipline.
