Our client is an award-winning Irish Building Contractor that specialize in high quality fitouts and are the market leader in the Dublin commercial office space. They also deliver high-quality projects in the data centre, healthcare and industrial sector. They have in excess of €200 million euro worth of projects in the Greater Dublin area for the next two years. They work with some of the world’s leading companies and have created some of Irelands most innovative work spaces. The true measure of their craftsmanship is that the majority of their work is repeat business. They currently require a number of experienced Site Project Managers to oversee the installation on multimillion euro commercial projects in Dublin City Centre.
About Your New Job
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with 7+ years of experience managing construction projects within a main contractor or fit out environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of projects, working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
* Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring that all milestones and deadlines are met.
* Lead and motivate a project team, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the project.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
* Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor costs, and control expenditure to prevent overruns.
* Provide regular progress updates to clients and senior management, identifying and addressing any potential risks or issues.
* Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes, including sourcing and managing subcontractors.
* Review and approve project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
* Oversee site inspections and ensure that the project is progressing as planned.
What You’ll need
* A minimum of 7 years’ experience as a Project Manager within a main contractor environment.
* Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex construction projects across various sectors.
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, project scheduling, cost management, and risk mitigation.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and efficiency.
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and site management best practices.
* Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore) is desirable.
What's on offer
Successful applicants will receive a starting salary of up to €90,000 which will be paid monthly. A strong list of company benefits that include a competitive annual bonus, private healthcare plan, a company pension scheme (5% employee contributions). Aside from this, all employees will be giving a regular career training plan to help them progress within an ever-growing company and the company will support any additional training/further education required. Employees in this company are exposed to working on some of the country’s largest fit-out projects with an excellent pipeline of work ahead for the next 5+ years.
