Electrical Maintenance Engineer Dungannon £40-45K To provide day to day electrical maintenance of all machinery, services and facilities within all areas of operations and provide manufacturing operations with technical support and pro-active solutions to electrical engineering problems and initiatives to ensure production ability is maintained and maximised.
Electrical Maintenance Engineer - The Role: Undertake electrical maintenance cover for production to ensure that breakdowns and other issues are resolved promptly, and downtime is minimised.
Utilise system to ensure that all Active Maintenance work is logged, recorded and closed.
Utilise the Maintenance Request Data Base to ensure that all Reactive Maintenance work is logged, recorded and closed.
Undertake project work through from installation to commissioning to ensure changes are implemented to the plan and refined if necessary.
Provide technical support within the engineering department, to other operational departments and external contractors to ensure that the best solutions are identified and implemented.
Attend and contribute to team meetings which drive departmental performance in order to support continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.
Safe dismantling of machines, performing checks and assisting breakdowns Conducting weekly energy readings and reporting back to management on any issues Conduct daily risk assessments on workstations, machines and production floor and reporting any maintenance requirements in line with health and safety regulations Aid with lock out tag out system Conduct an effective shift hand over to Team Leaders and Management Conduct effective PAT testing and report any issues/concerns to line management under Fire Safety Regulations N.I. and the health and safety regulations Waste Reduction Efficiencies Electrical Maintenance Engineer The Criteria: Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer preferably, fast paced, high volume manufacturing For more information regarding the Electrical Maintenance Engineer role, please contact Karen Nicholson at NI Resourcing on, or send your CV through the APPLY NOW link Skills: Electrical Engineering Maintenance
