The role
We are looking for an Electrical Technician to join our team in a pharmaceutical site in Co Cork.
Working pattern: Monday to Friday from 07:00-16:00.
Responsibilities
Effective daily maintenance of all electrical equipment on-site.
Reporting of existing or potential problems with equipment to Facilities Engineer.
Working with Mechanical/Multi Skilled Technicians to effectively manage and maintain multi-disciplinary equipment.
Respond to service calls logged with the facilities help desk.
Investigate the nature of the problems and seek a speedy resolution.
Ensure all sub-contractors understand reported problems and fully conduct service visit or callout works.
Effective management of daily helpdesk requests from receipt of request to completion and sign-off of task.
Work effectively with other Operations functions in order to fully complete client requests.
Conduct inspections of equipment and record them in local maintenance folders.
Carry out other tasks as assigned by the Facilities Engineer.
Perform site tasks to ensure plant runs in its most efficient manner.
Oversee sub‑contractors ensuring best practice is performed.
Provide energy reduction recommendations on plant operations relevant to the role.
Flexibility and availability to work overtime.
Goal Zero - Embed EHS as a way of doing business. Enforce a zero tolerance to unsafe working practices to target a goal zero accident rate.
Qualifications
Experience of working in a professional team-based office environment.
Experience of communicating with Clients/Customers and providing excellent customer service.
Trade qualification.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems.
Emergency lighting, electric periodic inspections, PAT testing, thermographic surveys, lighting management systems.
Strong administrative and coordination skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
