About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Building Automation Systems Engineer with 5+ years of expertise to support automation operations and project delivery within a leading life sciences manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with operations, utilities, electrical, and project engineering teams, as well as external engineering partners, to ensure the reliable operation, performance, and enhancement of Building Automation Systems.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support for Building Automation Systems (Siemens DesigoCC) and related Utility Automation Control systems.
Support upgrade initiatives and deliver hands-on troubleshooting to resolve system and field issues.
Coordinate and schedule tasks in alignment with critical project timelines.
Verify equipment performance, develop test procedures, and manage automation-related change controls.
Collaborate with installation and project engineering teams, external vendors, and on-site technical resources.
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and procedural instructions.
Promote and ensure safe working practices across all activities.
Deliver training to maintenance and operational teams when required.
Participate in system Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
Maintain and enhance automation change control processes.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years' experience supporting Building Automation / Building Management Systems within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or similar regulated manufacturing environments.
Proven experience in both project execution and operational support phases.
Strong background in HVAC and AHU system controls, plus exposure to other critical utilities such as cooling towers and compressors.
Experience with Siemens DesigoCC and Siemens XWorks required.
