We are working with a top-tier Irish law firm who are seeking a Senior Associate to join their Public Regulatory practice within their Dublin-based office.
The Role
The successful candidate will join an esteemed Public Regulatory team, advising the firm's client base on administrative and public law matters. The candidate will advise on matters such as statutory interpretation and analysis, information law issues, including FOI and data privacy, managing public law litigation, drafting legal opinions and court documents, and advising on the conduct of regulatory investigations.
The candidate will play a key role in advising both public and private sector clients on public law and the jurisdictional and procedural issues that affect statutory bodies. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.
Essential Criteria
* 6+ PQE;
* Strong background in administrative and/or constitutional law and statutory interpretation;
* Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness;
* Outstanding academics;
* Technically excellent;
* Negotiation skills;
* Willingness to become involved in business development;
* Ability to work independently and as a team.
