Support Worker
St. John of God Dublin South East Services provides education, training, employment, respite, community living supports, and rights promotion to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
We are seeking good communicators who can support individuals to achieve their goals, including training, work, independent living skills, socialising, friendship building, and independent travelling skills.
Our programs adapt to support safety and wellbeing. We deliver day programs from residential settings in some cases.
* A Fetac/QQI level 6 Qualification (e.g., Social Care/Training/Education/Teaching)
* Commitment to Person Directed Planning
* The ability to identify and develop natural support networks and social roles
* Supporting service-users with complex needs
* Knowledge of relevant national legislation and policy
Excellent communication, organisational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills are essential. A full valid manual driving license is required for this role.
