This is a great opportunity for an experienced Environmental Manager to join a well-established organisation in a permanent, full-time role. In this senior position, you’ll help shape and deliver the site-wide environmental strategy, making a real impact on sustainability targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and implement environmental policies and management systems across the site.
Support and maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certifications.
Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and keep up to date with Ireland and European regulations.
Monitor emissions, manage reporting in line with licensing requirements, and oversee wastewater treatment plant operations.
Coordinate pollution control, waste management, recycling, conservation initiatives, sustainability reporting, and continuous improvement projects.
Requirements:
Qualification in a field related to Environment and Sustainability Management.
Strong understanding of relevant legislation and compliance.
Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
Able to work independently, innovate, and manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
