Water Engineer Role Overview
Shape the future of our cities and environments by taking on a vital role in shaping exciting projects. As a Senior Water Engineer, you will play a key part in every aspect of water/wastewater treatment, storage, supply, and collection systems.
Our team specialises in all aspects of water and wastewater networks and treatment within multiple sectors, including infrastructure, aviation, buildings, education, energy, and environment. We provide industry-leading engineering solutions right through the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and delivery of water and wastewater schemes at various project stages from feasibility to detailed design, contract document preparation, and construction administration following relevant design standards and codes.
* Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
* Work closely with teams in Ireland and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
* Manage projects or support the Project Manager in the management and monitoring of project delivery within defined budget and programme requirements.
Requirements:
* Chartered Civil Engineer qualification.
* Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design and Design & Build.
* Sound knowledge in water and/or wastewater treatment, storage solutions, hydraulics, water supply, and wastewater collection systems and familiarity with current Ireland design standards and working practices.
* Commercial, contractual, and programme experience.
