IAM is one of Ireland's longest-established and most recognised independent importers and distributors of leading agricultural machinery brands. With over 60 years' experience in agriculture, we support farmers and contractors with a comprehensive range of machinery and professional aftersales support.
The Role
This is a
technical / coordination role
within our aftersales support team. The successful candidate will provide
hands-on technical support
while also
coordinating communication
between dealers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of technical and service-related issues.

Key Responsibilities
Technical & Field Support
* Provide
field-based and remote technical aftersales support
* Carry out
machine assembly and pre-delivery inspections (PDIs)
* Perform
product installation and commissioning
at customer sites
* Deliver
technical guidance and troubleshooting
in person and by phone
* Support field-based
technical and sales training initiatives
Coordination & Dealer Support
* Act as a key
technical point of contact
for dealers
* Coordinate resolution of technical issues with
suppliers and internal teams
* Manage
warranty and service support cases
, ensuring accurate records
* Conduct
regular dealer visits
to provide support and build relationships
* Maintain structured records of product issues and service activity
* Prepare and submit
weekly reports
on technical and dealer support activity
General
* Participate in
product and technical training
(Ireland and internationally)
* Assist other areas of the business as required
Person Specification
* Practical, organised, and proactive with strong problem-solving skills
* Background or strong interest in
agricultural machinery or farming
* Comfortable combining
hands-on technical work
with coordination and communication
* Experience with warranty systems or service processes is an advantage
* Able to prioritise tasks and work independently
* Strong communication skills with dealers, suppliers, and colleagues
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Flexible to travel nationally and occasionally internationally
* Full, clean driver's licence required
