In partnership with our client, we are currently seeking applications for the position of estimator.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for roofing and cladding projects, working closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure competitive and profitable tender submissions.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates for roofing and cladding projects, including materials, labour, and subcontractor costs Review and analyse project specifications, drawings, and requirements to determine project scope and cost implications Obtain and negotiate competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors Develop competitive tender submissions Identify potential project risks and propose mitigation strategies What we are looking for Experience in a similar role, ideally within the roofing, cladding or similar Knowledge of different roofing and cladding systems, materials, and installation techniques.
Proficiency in estimating software Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
