Description
0.5 WTE (17.5 hours)
Specified Purpose duration contract ( approx. 12 months initially - there may be an option to extend to 3 years depending on the roll out of the Community Connect Programme for Specialist Palliative Care nationally)
H.S.E. funded
Based in Harold's Cross
To work with the Chief Pharmacists in the provision of a pharmacy service and to lead areas of service development as required.
To provide pharmacy services including dispensing, clinical pharmacy services, medication safety initiatives and medicines information services, including the OLH&CS-based national medicines information service for palliative care, Palliative Meds Info.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (The Pharmacy Regulator) or be entitled to be so registered
A post-graduate qualification in hospital or clinical pharmacy or equivalent is highly desirable.
Have a full driver's license and access to own car
Experience
Experience:
Minimum of three years relevant post registration experience as a pharmacist
Have an interest in working in palliative care, older persons care and rheumatology
Have previous experience working in palliative care, older persons care, rheumatology or in related specialties.
**Please note that this is a part-time temporary position with 17.5 hours of work per week for a specified purpose duration of approximately 12 months initially and there may be an option to extend to 3 years depending on the roll out of the Community Connect Programme for Specialist Palliative Care nationally**
