Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Data Centre Expert
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead our data centre design projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the mechanical design and delivery of complex building services projects within the science, technology, and industrial sectors.

* Lead the mechanical design and delivery of complex building services projects within the science, technology, and industrial sectors.
* Develop and implement innovative, sustainable solutions aligned with net-zero carbon targets, including embodied carbon analysis and circular economy principles.
* Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams, including architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines.
* Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical growth and team development.
* Oversee contractor engagement and ensure successful delivery, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience in mechanical design, primarily within a consultancy environment.
* Proven experience delivering data centre design projects.
* Familiarity with the Irish or UK construction and engineering markets.
