Job description Staffline Recruitment is hiring a Depot Manager on behalf of a leading supplier of building materials and equipment in Ireland.
It is a full-time, permanent position.
45 hours per week Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm The Depot Manager is responsible for managing the daily activities of the branch.
The person in this role will create a business plan for the branch and make sure it is followed to achieve sales, service, and revenue targets.
Requirements Previous management experience Experience in a builder's provider or construction environment (an advantage) Good understanding of the construction industry Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel A third-level business qualification is helpful but not required Responsibilities Support sales campaigns and help the sales team find new customers Achieve targets for sales, customer service, and branch performance Provide excellent customer service every day Maintain good product knowledge Manage stock levels and ensure equipment is tested when required Follow company systems, processes, and procedures Promote and maintain health and safety standards.
