Head of Compliance Location: Dublin Salary: € Type: Permanent The Role You will shape and lead the compliance agenda, providing clear oversight, guidance, and challenge to senior stakeholders. The role involves managing a regional compliance team, engaging with regulators, supporting major change initiatives, and ensuring frameworks, policies, and monitoring activities are effective and embedded across the business. Key Responsibilities Lead compliance strategy and oversee adherence to regulatory expectations. Provide expert advice on risk, regulation, and emerging compliance requirements. Develop and manage annual compliance monitoring and assurance plans. Represent compliance in governance forums and in discussions with external stakeholders. Support a strong compliance culture across the organisation through training and engagement. Guide the organisation through regulatory change and ensure smooth implementation. Produce accurate, timely compliance reporting for senior leadership. Manage, mentor, and develop a regional compliance team. Experience & Skills 5-10 years working in a senior compliance or risk role within a regulated financial environment. Strong knowledge of regional financial services regulation. Proven leadership experience and ability to influence at senior level. Skilled in interpreting complex regulatory requirements and implementing practical solutions. Comfortable engaging with regulators and external partners. Excellent communication, analytical ability, and attention to detail. Relevant professional qualifications are an advantage.
