We are seeking a seasoned Purchasing Engineer / Insite Manager for a challenging, full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyse and optimize the supply chain to ensure maximum efficiency.
2. Develop and implement effective material planning strategies.
3. Purchase materials, subcontract services, and follow up on orders in a timely manner.
4. Manage general administration of purchase orders, subcontract operations, sales orders, receipting, invoicing, stock adjustments, and other relevant processes.
5. Liaise with suppliers, visiting facilities as necessary, to establish strong relationships.
6. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive results.
7. Optimize inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize productivity.
8. Process complaints in a fair and timely manner.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in purchasing, preferably in an engineering company.
* A recognized qualification in a related field.
* Experience in engineering/manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
* Strong negotiation, IT, analytical, and organizational skills.
* Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas and complex financial spreadsheets.
* Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly in material planning and contract management.
